TRUSLEY

DERBYSHIRE

A historic estate in the heart of Derbyshire's Golden Triangle.

Trusley is a small village in south Derbyshire with a long, layered past. First recorded as Toxenai in the Domesday Book, it belonged to Henry de Ferrers. In the 1200s Oliver de Odingsells bought the manor; in 1418 a De Odingsells co-heiress married Thomas Coke, bringing the Coke family to Trusley.
