Flower Farm.

Developing the Edwardian walled garden into a productive flower farm and workshop.

Flower Grower & Wedding Florist
Joint Venture
Trusley, Derbyshire

British · Seasonal · Sustainable

Lead flower growing and wedding floristry from our historic walled garden, supplying our established wedding venue and related events.

The role blends growing, selling curated wedding flower packages to couples, and hands on implementation on the wedding day.

Approach anchored in British, seasonal, sustainable flowers. See flowersfromthefarm.co.uk.

Objectives

Deliver beautiful, seasonal floristry for weddings, documented on social media.

Create a productive cutting garden.

Facilities and support

Walled garden access with water supply, power where available, storage, and a workbench area.

Use of venue spaces for consultations, trials, and photography by arrangement.

Marketing: inclusion on venue website and collateral, social features, and open days.

Growing and production

Plan and run the walled garden: soil health, propagation, planting, succession, harvest, conditioning, stock management.

Maintain sustainable standards: composting, minimal plastic, foam free mechanics where practical.

Track yields, stem counts, wastage, and quality.

Sales and client service

Design clear wedding flower packages at three price points with optional upgrades.

Consult with couples, prepare proposals and mood boards, and convert enquiries.

Manage timelines and logistics with the venue team and other suppliers.

Maintain a simple CRM and pipeline, with weekly conversion reporting.

Next steps

If this structure suits, we will draft a short JV agreement with schedules for facilities, cost coverage, and profit share, and a one page garden licence.

Please share your portfolio and a 12 month cropping plan outline with three wedding package recipes aligned to UK seasonality.

We would be delighted to build this with you and make the Trusley walled garden a flagship for seasonal British flowers.
